Ranchi, June 20: The Jharkhand police arrested two cyber criminals after a raid in the Gonda area under the leadership of Cyber DSP Yashodhara.

Those arrested were identified as Giridih residents, Brahmadeo Paswan and Sonu Kumar Barnwal. The police seized a large amount of fake Aadhaar cards, ATM cards, cheque books, passbooks, SIM cards and laptop computers besides Rs 1.96 lakh cash from their possession.

Primary interrogation suggested that they were operative for the last seven months and used to trap their prey in the name of giving them business support. They had connections with bank officials, who used to help them open bank accounts with the help of fake documents.
