Jharkhand secures second place in Sub-Junior Rugby National Competition

Ramgarh, Mar 14: Jharkhand has secured the second position in the Sub Junior Rugby National Competition organized under the aegis of Rugby India in Secunderabad, Telangana.

Shashi Pandey, Secretary of Ramgarh Rugby Association and President Anmol Singh said that players from four districts: Ramgarh, Khuti, Paschim Singhbhum and Seraikela were included in the Jharkhand team.

The district team had a significant contribution. One player Chandan Kumar joined the boys’ category from the district and two players Nisha Kumari and Priyanshu Kumari participated in the girls’ category.

 

 

Players were given a grand welcome when the team returned to the Ramgarh district.

On the occasion Association President Anmol Singh, Secretary Shashi Pandey, Treasurer Sumit Kumar, Rahul Pandey, Sushant Pandey, Sunil Malakar, Sanjay Sonkar, Samit Kumar, Mahabir Kumar Mahato, Vinay Ranjan, Parveen Kumar, Dipankar Singh, Dhriti Bose and others were present.
