Ranchi: Train movement on the Kita-Silli rail section will be affected today due to a traffic block, with four passenger trains on the Hatia-Sanki route cancelled and three express trains having their routes curtailed on account of technical work.

Four Passenger Trains Cancelled

According to railway officials, trains numbered 58663/58664 and 58665/58666, running between Hatia and Sanki in both directions, will remain cancelled for the day. The suspension of these local services is expected to inconvenience regular daily commuters who depend on this route.

Three Express Trains Terminated Short of Destination

In addition, three major trains will be terminated before reaching their scheduled destinations. Train number 13503/13504, the Bardhaman-Hatia-Bardhaman MEMU, will operate only up to Gomoh station, with services between Gomoh and Hatia suspended. Train number 18035/18036, the Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express, will run only up to Adra station and return from there, with the Adra-Hatia stretch remaining closed. Meanwhile, train number 63598/63597, the Asansol-Ranchi MEMU, will be halted at Muri station and will not operate between Muri and Ranchi.

Railway authorities have advised passengers to check their train schedules before beginning their journey to avoid inconvenience.
