Main shooter, 6 others arrested in Wasseypur property dealer murder case

Dhanbad, Nov 30: Dhanbad police claimed to have arrested the main shooter and six others involved in the Wasseypur property dealer Nanhey Khan murder case in seven days of the incident.

Dhanbad senior superintendent of police (SSP) Sanjiv Kumar today informed media persons that a special squad of police raided the farmhouse house of accused Prince Khan at 4 am today and arrested 7 killers hiding with arms and ammunition.
“Those , who were arrested from different places, were identified as the main shooter of murder case Md Rashid Hassan, Dikky Ansari, Azad Alam  alias Azad Khan, Arshad Khan, Shahwaj Alam, Saddam Kureshi and Md  Anwar alias Rahmat,” said SSP Sanjiv Kumar.

The police also recovered two pistols, 6 live cartridges, eight mobile phones, eight country made hand grenades and a bike from arrested persons at the farmhouse.

Property dealer Nanhey Khan was shot dead in broad daylight (afternoon) at Wasseypur under Bank More police station on November 24.

One of the gangsters of Wasseypur Prince Khan claimed responsibility for murder by releasing a video clipping on social media the same evening ( November 24). The police raided his house in Wassespur next day in the morning and arrested his mother, suspected to be one of the conspirators, and two others.

The police also recovered six country-made hand grenades and four luxury four-wheelers.
A police official said  Prince Khan facing charges of several murder and extortion cases is absconding.
