Meeting of chambers of commerce, MLAs of seven DVC command areas concluded

Ramgarh, Jan 27: Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries today convened an important meeting in the auditorium of Bijuria located in Ramgarh.

The meeting was attended by the presidents/secretaries of all the chambers of commerce, MLAs falling in 7 DVC command area of districts including Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Chatra, Koderma, Giridih, Dhanbad and Bokaro where power supply by DVC has been irregular for the past 3 months.

Ramgarh’s legislator Mamta Devi and Giridih MLA Sudipto Kumar Sonu, as well as Dhanbad Chamber of Commerce President Prabhat Surolia, Giridih Chamber of Commerce President Nirmal Jhunjhunwala, Hazaribagh Chamber of Commerce President Shambhu Nath Agarwal, Ramgarh Chamber of  Commerce President Pankaj Prasad Tiwari and executive members as well as former president, traders along with their representatives/colleagues, attended this meeting.

This meeting was held to put pressure on the government from one platform.

During the meeting, the members emphasized and prepared further strategy which is as follows:

First of all, a delegation will meet Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.  They will demand to get rid of the supply and will file a complaint with the Chief Minister, on January 31, 2022.

A one-day dharna will be organized by the traders in front of the office of the Superintendent of Electrical Engineers of these seven districts.

If the system is not correct,  the businessmen of this area will deposit the keys of their respective factories with the concerned officer.

If even after this the situation does not improve,  they will also call for three consecutive days of bandh in all the seven districts of the command area whose date will be announced later.

Ramgarh Chamber President Pankaj Prasad Tiwari, Vice President Amresh Ganak, Honorary Secretary Bhupendra Singh, Treasurer Dinesh Poddar, Organization Secretary Gopal Sharma, FJCCI Vice President Jitendra Prasad, Dhanbad Chamber of Commerce Spokesperson Sandeep Mukherjee were mainly present in today’s meeting.

President of Commerce Shambhu Nath Agrawal, Vice President Subodh Kumar, Rakesh Kumar Tiwari, Mohammad Ahmed Farooqui Raza, Sunil Kumar Agarwal, Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, former President of Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce Shyam Sundar Parshuram, Puria Baljit Singh Bedi, Pradeep Kumar Singh, Anand Agarwal, Durga Prasad  Singh, Manji Singh, Anoop Kumar Singh, Bhaskar Dutta, Ramgarh Chamber executive members Amit Kumar Sinha, Balkishan Jalal, Manoj Kumar Chaturvedi, Ashok Kumar Singh, Vishnu Poddar, Vinay Kumar Agarwal, Murari Lal Agarwal, Nandkishore Gupta, Inderpal Singh Saini, Shyam Singh, Sunil Dubey, Ravindra Sahu, Vinay Kumar Singh, Balram Sahu, Anand Gupta, Gautam Jalal, Pankaj Bagdia were present in the meeting.
