Daltonganj, March 13: Minorities are more safe in the states ruled by BJP than anywhere else, said the state president of the BJP Alp Sankheeyak Morcha Anwar Heyat on Sunday at his press conference in Daltonganj.

Heyat said more and more Muslims are joining the BJP which is a good sign for them. He said Muslims have been exploited by other political parties only for the votes.

He refused to make any comment on Asaduddin Owaisi despite repeated queries in this regard. He said Owaisi will talk about him, not me. He parried all political questions about Owaisi leaving people to believe that Owaisi’s party All India Majlis e Ittihadul  Muslamin is a B team of the BJP.

On being asked if he is in 80 or 20 as propounded by the Chief Minister of UP Aditya Yogi Heyat said he belongs to 80. He had no word for 20.

He said two Rajya Sabha members Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Zafar Islam are from Jharkhand defending Zafar Islam comes from Hazaribag in Jharkhand.

Heyat was very critical of the Hemant Soren government, calling it a government standing on the edifice of lies and lies.

“This government has deceived the Muslims all for the votes. Boards like Waqf, Madarsa and commissions like minority etc are yet to be set up in this government,” he said.

“The state is seeing high incidence of crimes and rise of extremism,” he added.

District president of the BJP Alp Sankheeyak Morcha Firoz Ansari was given all support by the mayor Aruna Shankar, former district president Narender Pandey, MP’s representative Bijay Ojha etc.

District president Vijayanand Pathak conducted the interaction of the state president of the BJP Alp Sankheeyak Morcha Anwar Heyat with the Muslim girls and women.
