Daltonganj, July 12: Anjaneyulu Dodde, a 2011-batch IAS officer, is learnt to be joining as the new Palamu Deputy Commissioner (DC) on Wednesday, July 13.
He is to replace the present incumbent Shashi Ranjan who has been transferred to Ranchi Municipal Corporation as its municipal commissioner.
The outgoing DC Shashi Ranjan said he is waiting for Dodde to come over here and take charge. He said the makeover and take-over will be on July 13.
Sources reminded that very few DCs in Palamu in around the last 40 years have ever chosen 13 of a month to sit in the hot chair of the district but Dodde is said to take command of this district on July 13.
Meanwhile, Bhor Singh Yadav, a 2014 batch IAS officer, has taken over the charge as Latehar DC today. He replaced Abu Imran who is to take charge of Chatra district as its DC.
