New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important clarification for candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 examination scheduled for June 21, 2026, stating that those who have already downloaded their new admit card for the exam do not need to download it again.

Who the Reminder Messages Are For

The SMS, email, and WhatsApp messages being sent to students are primarily meant for candidates who have not yet downloaded their new admit card. The NTA also clarified that the admit card issued on May 3 will not be valid for this exam, as many students have been allotted new exam centres in cities of their choice for the re-test.

NTA’s Advisory to Candidates

The agency has appealed to candidates to download the new admit card issued for the June 21 exam and keep a printed copy safe, clarifying that downloading and printing it once is sufficient.
