NTPC, North Karanpura power project receives CSR award

Chatra, April 14: NTPC, North Karanpura Super Thermal Power project has received Gold Award from APEX India for CSR Excellence 2022 recently held at Cicade De Goa, Taj on April.11. Anil Kumar Chawla (AGM-HR) received the award on behalf of NTPC, North Karanpura.

Officials said North Karanpura has fostered the growth of various sectors including education, sports, culture, health, drinking water and infrastructure, both qualitatively and quantitatively within a year.

According to them, the ongoing CSR initiatives aim to provide basic amenities like electricity, clean drinking water, education, etc. These also strive to provide a safe, stimulating environment and help pave the way for a better future for the locals.

This project has helped people from marginalised socio-economic backgrounds find better work opportunities.
