NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club distributes essential food items at Children’s Shelter Home

Ranchi, Nov 20: Good Nutrition is important for a healthy life. With this noble thought, Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, NTPC Coal Mining HQ, Ranchi distributed essential food items to the needy children of Asha children’s shelter home in Tupudana, Ranchi as part of a CSR initiative.

On this occasion, Mahua Mazumder, President, of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club interacted with the children and office bearers of the shelter home and stressed having nutrient food in their daily diet to stay healthy and as it is essential, especially for the growth of the children. She added that the ladies club is making its all efforts to support the needy through its various welfare activities regularly.

Srinivas K Murty, General Manager (HR) present on the occasion said NTPC Coal mining Headquarters is keen to support the needy and marginalised community of the society to the extent possible.

The ladies club and its members distributed food items i.e. rice, dal, vegetable oil, health drink, eggs, fruits etc to create awareness of proper nutrition through distribution. The generosity and voluntary contribution of each and every club member made the event special.

The initiative of the Ladies club was appreciated by the beneficiaries. Senior committee members of the Ladies Club, Lakshmi Murthy, Kiran Dubey, Kabita Samal, Snigdha Majhi, Mansa Verma and Apoorva Dwivedi were present on the occasion.
