Ranchi, June 7: In an incident of broad daylight firing, miscreants fire bullets on an ornament shop owner named Rajesh Kumar Pal near Ranchi Lake under the Daily Market police station area.
Pal sustained injuries and was taken to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) for treatment.
A local resident said the incident took place when Pal resisted a loot attempt.
“Bike borne miscreants barged into the house of Pal and attempted loot. When Pal put up a resistance, he was shot at. Miscreants escaped after opening fire,” the locality resident said.
Police have rushed to the spot. Further details are awaited.
