Daltonganj, Aug 10: The approach road to the under-construction Eklavya school at Bansi Khurd under Manatu block in Palamu has been sanctioned during a visit of Palamu DC Anjaneyulu Dodde on Wednesday.

Speaking to the lagatar24.com this afternoon, Dodde said, “I saw the approach road. I have asked the Manatu BDO to get it well mended. This approach road has been sanctioned.”

This upcoming Eklavya school is said to be a giant work in the field of education at a place like Bansi Khurd under Manatu block where ten years back it was known as the forbidden land of the Naxals

The visit of Palamu DC today is set to speed up the construction work there at the Eklavya school, according to sources.

Manatu BDO Sunil Prakash said the next stop over of the DC was the KGB Awasiya Vidyalay at Padma where he instructed the BDO to prepare plan for the boundary wall of the residential school for the girls. He agreed the quality of food given to the residential girls should be maintained by all means.

BDO Sunil Prakash said, “Our DC today launched the distribution of the Tirangas at the block cum circle offices at Manatu.

200 Tirangas were given away right in the presence of the DC. There was a huge gathering of around 300 people including all the elected PRI (Panchayati Raj Institutions) members.

“Our block would be getting 8,000 national flags which would be distributed in a transparent manner. The DC has urged people to observe ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in a very pious way,” the BDO added.
