New Delhi: A 32-year-old man was tragically shot dead at Delhi’s Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital on Sunday afternoon. The shocking incident took place on the third floor of the hospital at around 4 pm.

The victim, identified as Riyazuddin, had been admitted to the hospital on June 23 after complaining of stomach pain. According to the police, an 18-year-old assailant, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, fired 3-4 rounds at Riyazuddin before fleeing the scene.

Authorities are currently unclear about the motive behind the attack, and the search for the suspect is ongoing. Disturbing images from the scene show the victim lying in a pool of blood on his hospital bed, covered with a pink blanket from the waist down.

This incident raises serious concerns about security measures within hospital premises and the safety of patients. The police are conducting a thorough investigation to apprehend the suspect and determine the reasons behind this brutal act.
