New Delhi, Feb 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi called another high-level meeting on the Ukraine crisis on Monday, a day after convening a high-level meeting with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, and Foreign Secretary Harsh V Shringla.
Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and Gen (Retd) VK Singh to travel to neighbouring countries of Ukraine as Special Envoys of India to coordinate the evacuation mission and help students, said the government sources.
Earlier on Sunday, during a high-level meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the government’s first priority is securing the safety of Indian students and evacuating them, according to official sources. According to the sources, the summit also decided to strengthen collaboration with the war-torn country’s neighbouring nations in order to speed the evacuation of Indian students.
