The project was designed in collaboration with the Jharkhand government. It shows how tribals fought to safeguard their woods, land rights, and culture, as well as their heroism and sacrifices, which is important for nation-building, according to the PMO.
Budhu Bhagat, Sidhu-Kanhu, Nilambar-Pitambar, Diwa-Kisun, Telanga Khadiya, Gaya Munda, Jatra Bhagat, Poto H, Bhagirath Manjhi, and Ganga Narayan Singh have also been featured in the museum alongside Munda.
The memorial park, which contains a musical fountain, food court, children’s park, infinity pool, garden, and other entertainment amenities, has been created on nearby 25 acres of property.

Munda’s birth anniversary will now onwards be commemorated as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, according to the government.
“I have spent a large part of my life with tribal brothers and sisters and children. I have been a witness to their joys and sorrows, daily lives, and the necessities of their lives. So, today is also an emotional day for me personally,” said PM Narendra Modi on Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas.
