Ranchi, Oct 14: Jharkhand police seized as many as 260 pieces of explosive sticks (gelatine sticks) and 260 pieces of detonators from a man at Kalupada village under Maheshpur police station area in Pakur district.
The action was taken after the police received a tip-off about a man who was on way to Maheshpur from somewhere in West Bengal on his motorbike carrying explosives.
The man was arrested. Apart from explosive items, the bike being used to carry the explosive was also seized by the police.
