Lucknow, Jan 21: Before the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra announced the party’s manifesto for the state’s youth, saying that only the party can provide the state’s youth a new vision. The party is focusing on youth and women in the election, and has promised that in Uttar Pradesh, 40% of tickets will be reserved for women.

Rahul Gandhi said the ‘youth manifesto’ called ‘Bharti Vidhan’ was developed after contacting youngsters whose perspectives are reflected in it, speaking at a news conference at the launch of the ‘youth manifesto’ called ‘Bharti Vidhan.’ “The youth of Uttar Pradesh require a fresh vision, and only Congress has the ability to provide that vision to the state.”

“We don’t spread hatred, we unite people and we want to create a new Uttar Pradesh with the strength of youth,” he added.

Priyanka Gandhi, the party’s leader, stated that the state’s largest challenge is recruitment, and that the youth feel disillusioned. She stated that her party in Uttar Pradesh wants the focus to be on development rather than the current negative propaganda based on caste or communalism.

Beginning February 10, voters in Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur, Punjab, and Uttarakhand will vote in seven phases, with results expected on March 10.
