New Delhi, Jan 3: After a nine-day pause, Congressman Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra would start off again from Uttar Pradesh today. The Yatra has already travelled more than 3,000 kilometres in more than 110 days.

The Yatra has travelled across sections of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Haryana since it began on September 7 in Kanyakumari. Jammu and Kashmir will serve as its climax.

According to the Congress, it is the longest foot march by an Indian politician in Indian history. He visited the Hanuman Mandir in Delhi’s Yamuna Bazaar area this morning.

The Congress will launch the ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo’ campaign to propagate the Yatra’s message when it concludes in Srinagar on January 26.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, national general secretary of the AICC, has reportedly been given the task of leading the ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo’ campaign across the nation with an emphasis on women by the former president of the Congress, according to sources.

According to other sources, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will lead a wave of marches in March with women cadres that will focus on growing inflation and how it affects the general population, particularly the middle class. Other female-related topics will also be a major focal point.
