Ramgarh DC inspects subdivision office over bypoll preparations

Ramgarh, Jan 30: In view of the Ramgarh assembly by-election, District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Ramgarh Madhavi Mishra along with Superintendent of Police Piyush Pandey inspected the subdivision office at Ramgarh on Monday to review the preparations for the nominations.

During the inspection, Ramgarh DC received detailed information from Mohammad Javed Hussain, Returning Officer Ramgarh Assembly Constituency cum Sub-Divisional Officer on the preparations for the nomination so far, after which the DC inspected the nomination room.

Meanwhile, Ramgarh DC has issued important instructions to ensure strict compliance with the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India during the nomination. Along with this, she gave necessary instructions regarding the deployment of the security forces on the campus, video recording of the nomination process and barricading.

Notably, the voting for the Ramgarh assembly by-election will take place on February 27 and the results will be announced on March 2.
