Ramgarh, Dec17: Pinky Singh alias Pihu, a resident of Giddi Thana Colony in Ramgarh, has been selected in the singing reality show ‘Bhojpuria Surbaaz’. The people of Giddi have expressed their happiness at her selection.
Pinky looks forward to fulfilling her late father’s dreams by giving her best performances in the prestigious show. She said that her late father Mohan Singh had a desire that his daughter rises and become a famous name in the field of music.
“I have had a lot of inclination towards music from childhood. Along with getting music education, my father used to take me wherever the audition of music reality shows used to take place,” Pinky said.
“I have auditioned for Indian Idol in 2010, Champion Mega Star of India in 2011, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2012, The Voice in 2013 and Mahua Channel’s Sur Sangam and went ahead for many rounds. Meanwhile, my father passed away in 2016. After staying away from music for a few days, I once again started singing to entertain and fulfil my father’s dream,” she added.
In 2021, Pinky sang three songs in the album named ‘Banaras Baba Nagri Pake.’
“The auditions for Bhojpuria Surbaaz happened in June-July 2021. After two-three rounds of auditions, I was finally selected in the singing reality show. Now I am preparing for the reality show and hope to win,” said Pinky.
