Ramgarh, Feb 3: The Patratu Lake Resort is gearing up to welcome the delegates for the G-20 summit that is likely to be scheduled in March 2023. Foreign delegates coming to Jharkhand will stay at the Patratu Lake Resort. To provide all kinds of facilities, the state tourism department and Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation (JTDC) are giving the final touches to the four-story VVIP guest house.
On Thursday, a committee of senior officials from Delhi and Ranchi visited the Patratu Lake Resort to review and monitor the preparations for the arrival of the G-20 delegates for the summit at Ranchi.
They inspected the new VVIP guest house that is being built at the Lake Resort. At the same time, a meeting was held with officials of the state government. The officials here also received information regarding the dam and boats.

Rajkumar Sharma, a senior team official, at the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, said that the summit events will also be held at Ranchi. Foreign delegates from 20 countries will interact with the arts, culture and folk traditions of Jharkhand. Preparations are being done in this regard as well. The folk art and culture of Jharkhand have a special significance that makes them popular in foreign countries.
Moreover, G-20 team OSD Captain Vivek Banerjee, Vinod Rajmohan, Jitin Krishna Gulani, Anuradha Madhukar, and Dr Ravi Kumar along with other officials of the state and the district administration visited Patratu Lake Resort to monitor the preparations done for the arrival for the G-20 delegates for the summit in Ranchi.
