Ramgarh, Sept 13: Police have achieved success in the famous Amit Bakshi murder case which took place on August 8 this year under the Bhurkunda police station area.
The main accused of this case, Bharat Pandey who is a resident of Patratu, has been arrested by the police. Bharat was arrested with weapons from Tokisud station based on secret information. Police have recovered four pistols, four live bullets, two mobiles and a dongle from his possession.
Ramgarh SP Piyush Pandey today that CCL employee Amit Bakshi was murdered in Central Saunda of Bhurkunda OP area on August 8. A case was registered at Patratu (Bhurkunda) police station under case number 151/2022 under Sections 302/34 and 27 of the Arms Act. The police were continuously raiding several places regarding the incident to find the culprits.
In the course of the investigation, police arrested Birbal Rai, a resident of CCL Saunda, and sent him to judicial custody. Based on the confession statement of Birbal, the white-colored Apache bike used in the case was recovered. In his statement, Birbal called Bharat Pandey the main accused.
According to information, Bharat Pandey has a criminal history. Four cases are registered against him in Patratu police station.
