Ranchi, Sept 24: Central University of Jharkhand on Saturday organized a Hindi workshop on the topic ‘Hindi letter writing, noting and drafting for its officers, employees and students under Hindi fortnight.
The program started with the offering of flowers to the picture of national poet Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’.
Upendra Satyarthi, the convener and assistant professor of this event, while highlighting the main objective of the workshop, said that this will help overcome the hesitation of all the teaching and non-teaching staff and students having knowledge of the Hindi language to work in Hindi. He stressed on understanding and writing Hindi letter writing, noting and drafting properly.
The research scholar of the department, Suraj Ranjan, talked about the nuances of Hindi letter writing. Assistant Registrar (Finance) Nafees Ahmed Khan stressed on the simple and easy use of Hindi in official work.
On this occasion, Dr Ravi Ranjan, Dr Kumar Gaurav, Dr Kalsang Wangmo, Dr Mukesh Jaiswal, Dr Shashi Mishra, other University teachers, researchers and students were present in large numbers.
The program was conducted by Suraj Ranjan and a vote of thanks by Official Language Cell (in-charge) Dr Shivendra Prasad.
