Ranchi, April 22: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the newly constructed Diamond Jubilee Block of St. Xavier’s School, Doranda during the occasion of 62nd Foundation Day on Friday.
During the event, the CM spoke about the importance of education in Jharkhand and how institutions play an important role in determining the literacy rate of a state.
“My children are also students of this school. I love the style of work here. The school has also seen many ups and downs in its journey for over 60 years. Even today, the school is setting goals with the same enthusiasm, strength and ability. The school has a distinct identity in the country,” he said.
The CM added that with the increase in temperature day by day, school buses with children should be given priority in traffic just like ambulances so that they can reach home at the earliest. The government will make a decision in this regard
