Ranchi Women’s College invites applications for admissions in new session

Ranchi, July 4: The Ranchi Women’s College has invited applications in courses including BSc IT, BA in Fashion Design, BSc in Chemical Nutrition and Dietetics, and BSc in BioTechnology, along with intermediate classes for the upcoming session.

Interested candidates may apply for the courses through the Chancellor’s Portal. On the other hand, students may apply through the website of the college for admissions in Intermediate till July 10.The college also plans to begin four new courses.

“These include Fine Arts degree course, 6-month certificate course for Japanese language, 6-month certificate courses for Martial Arts and Motor Driving skill development, and Diploma in Photography and Film Making,” said college principal Prof Dr Shamshun Nehar.

Notably, the academic council of the college has already approved the said courses, and a proposal has been sent to Ranchi University for approval. Principal Nehar said that admissions in said courses will begin as soon as approval for the same is provided. Apart from this, criminology will also be added as a part of the course of Sociology, approval for which has already been provided.

Along with this, students with 50 percent or more marks will get direct admissions. Students may also apply directly to vocational courses by filling up forms available in said departments. Meanwhile, the college is also set to upload forms for Computer applications and BBA vocational courses on its website on July 4. As per officials, students will need to bring all original documents along with their photo copies, along with two passport-sized pictures.
