Ranchi, Oct 20: Ranchi’s model of Ayushman Bharat scheme will be implemented across the country to facilitate the treatment of patients, announced the CEO of National Health Authority (NHA) Dr. RS Sharma on Wednesday. Earlier, he inspected the Sadar Hospital and under the Ayushman scheme, understood the treatment and arrangement being done in the hospital.
After the inspection, Dr. RS Sharma said that ‘the beneficiaries of Ayushman will not have to wander for their identity. For this, a card (token) will be issued across the country from registration to their identification. It will be distributed for free to as many people as possible so that they can go to the hospital and claim that they are the beneficiaries of Ayushman.
“More and more hospitals will be added under Ayushman across the country. Along with this, the hospital package will be made reasonable, so that the private hospital can get the proper amount in lieu of treatment. This is necessary to increase the participation of private hospitals,” Dr. RS Sharma further added.
The claims of private hospitals should be settled quickly. If no discrepancy is found in the claims of any hospital, then they will be included in the green channel. 50% will be paid as soon as the claim is submitted. Such a step is already being taken in Jharkhand.
Ranchi Sadar Hospital ranks third in the country in terms of claiming the amount by treatment under Ayushman Bharat scheme. At the same time, it is on top of the list in eastern India. This year, Rs 11.55 crore has been claimed by the hospital under Ayushman Yojana. Not only this, the amount coming after the treatment is also being used to develop the infrastructure of the hospital.
