SDO, CO seize 10 tractors for illegal sand lifting in Ramgarh

Ramgarh, Nov.23: A raid was conducted on Damodar river ghat near Sirka of Ramgarh district on Tuesday against the illegal lifting of sand on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner of Ramgarh, Madhavi Mishra.

The raid was conducted on the vehicles that were illegally lifting sand at Damodar River Ghat. by Sub-Divisional Officer Mohammad Javed Hussain, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ramgarh Kishore Kumar Rajak and Circle Officer Ramgarh Sudhir Kumar.

 

 

During the investigation, 10 vehicles were found guilty of lifting sand illegally, after which all the vehicles were confiscated by the administration.

SDO Mohammad Javed Hussain in this regard said, “On the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner. 10 vehicles have been confiscated from Damodar River Ghat near Sirka during raids against illegal lifting of sand. The District Mining Officer has been informed about this. It has been directed to take further legal action in this regard.”

He further said that the district administration is continuously conducting an investigation campaign in all the areas from sand is being lifted illegally and strict legal actions will be taken against those who are found guilty.
