Dhanbad, Oct 28: A twenty-year-old Sindri boy from Sindri, Prajwal Pandey, has become a cynosure in the United Kingdom (UK) for his successful campaign strategy in making Indian origin Rishi Sunak the Prime Minister.

Notably, Prajwal was among the 30-member core committee of the Rishi Sunak campaign team in August for the British Prime Ministerial race after the resignation of Boris Johnson. In the campaign, Pranjal worked with senior policy advisors and had been in regular touch with Tory MPs, ministers and Rishi Sunak to prepare the platform.

Though in the PM race Sunak fell behind Liz Truss, Prajwal’s core committee team impressively placed the tax, education, economic and defence policy of Sunak before the British people which helped Sunak to become Prime Minister without contest within six weeks after Liz Truss resigned.

Rajesh Pandey, father of Prajwal spoke to lagatar24.com and said that Prajwal is considered a political strategist. He was elected for the British Youth Parliament with record votes in 2019. He was elected the vice-chairman of Chelmsford Youth Strategy Group in 2019 and co-chairman of the Essex Climate Action Committee in 2020. He worked with senior leaders of the Conservative Party like Lord Randwall and others in forming a climate policy.

Prajwal completed his studies at King Edward VI Grammer School Chelmsford , Essex.

“Before the election of the Prime Minister, Conservative Party had sought applications for core campaign team members. Prajwal had also filed an online application and was selected in the 30-members squad,” said Rajesh Pandey.

Rajesh Pandey is a software engineer in Britain and his wife is a school teacher. Prajwal’s grandfather, former Sindri PDIL employee Bagish Dutt Pandey, is still living in Sindri with his family. Rajesh Pandey is still in touch with the family and visited Sindri in Durga Puja. Prajwal’s sacred thread ceremony had been performed in Sindri in 2020.

“We are happy that Sindri lad has made his mark in Britain by doing social activities,” commented Bagish Dutt Pandey.
