Ranchi, Nov 15: As many as 680 teachers got the appointment letters on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and State Foundation Day at the Project Bhawan Ranchi.
On the occasion 45 children’s picture books of tribal language and books of prose and grammar were released, the author and translator of these books were honoured. The CM announced to give one lakh rupees as an incentive to these writers of tribal languages.
At the same time app related to the “Aapke Adhikar – Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar” program was launched and “Sarhul” magazine was released which has been printed in Birsa Munda Central Jail, Hotwar, Ranchi.
During the occasion, Governor Ramesh Bais said that the function organized on the occasion has created many new dimensions of development in 21 years and the role of a state like Jharkhand is very important in the overall development of the country.
“The government is striving for the overall development of the state and is working in this direction to ensure that government facilities reach the last person at the national level. Apart from this, the government is also making continuous efforts to increase industrial investment and remove migration and unemployment,” Bais said.
While congratulating the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Dharti Aba Birsa Munda and state foundation day, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that today is a historic and proud day for everyone.
“We should not forget that Jharkhand state is a product of a long time struggle of the tribals where many gave their lives to make Jharkhand of their dreams,” the CM said.
“Jharkhand has been the land of heroes who have emerged from every corner of the state and became martyrs for the society and the country,” the CM further said.
“Birsa Munda is such a brave son, whom the whole world knows by the name of Dharti Aba and from this year we are celebrating the birth anniversary of this great personality as Tribal Pride Day, but it is a bit regret that we had to wait for 150 years for this,” the CM further added.
Many dignitaries including Minister Alamgir Alam, Minister Jagarnath Mahato, Minister Satyanand Bhokta, MP Vijay Hansda, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary and other officials of various departments were present at this function.
