Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar had reached Ranchi even before the arrival of Chief Minister KCR.
“Both Jharkhand and Telangana are similar states. The problem of both the states is the same. That is why if some measures come out on the basis of talks, then both the states will work step by step,” CS Somesh said.
At the same time, according to the information received from the sources, KCR is engaged in the exercise of setting up a front of opposition parties against the BJP. In this episode, he will discuss this issue with CM Hemant Soren.
Earlier, KCR, met his Maharashtra counterpart Uddhav Thackeray and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar separately in Mumbai on February 20. Thackeray’s Shiv Sena and the NCP have said they will not join an Opposition front without Congress, which is a part of their government in Maharashtra. The Congress is also a part of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-led government in Jharkhand.
A day after his meetings in Mumbai, KCR vowed to fight against “the divisive, communal forces” and play a role in national politics to bring about a qualitative change in the country’s governance.
The Congress has accused KCR of helping the BJP grow into a more powerful force by focusing on parties supporting the country’s main opposition party.
CM KCR, on Thursday, met BJP Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy and farmer leader Rakesh Singh Tikait in New Delhi.
The Telangana Chief Minister will leave for Hyderabad from Bhagwan Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi after meeting Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
