Ranchi: In the ongoing investigation into the Tetulia land scam, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has received permission from the Ranchi PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) Special Court to interrogate Izhar Hussain and Akhtar Hussain inside jail premises.

The scam involves the alleged forgery and sale of over 100 acres of forest land in Tetulia mouza of Bokaro district using fake documents. The ED is currently probing the case under money laundering charges.

Following the court’s approval, ED officials are expected to interrogate both accused within the jail for one day. Sources suggest that the questioning could lead to major revelations, including details of others involved in the fraudulent land deals.

The ED has already registered ECIR 6/2025 in connection with the case. More arrests and disclosures are anticipated as the probe progresses.
