New Delhi, July 23: To ensure the best possible delivery of all state-run health initiatives to every intended recipient, including those in the last mile, the Union Health Ministry plans to introduce the “Ayushman Bhav” program. Some of the activities planned under the scheme are Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0, Ayushman Sabha, Ayushman Mela and Ayushman Gram, according to official sources.
“The aim of the campaign is to ensure comprehensive and saturation coverage of all health schemes so that every eligible beneficiary is able to avail their benefits,” an official source said.
The first and second Ayushman Apke Dwar drives were completed successfully. An intensive drive will start under Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0 from August 1 to assure full saturation, sources said.
To guarantee that the benefits of all the health initiatives of the central and state governments reach the intended recipients, Ayushman Sabha will be a village-level campaign led by the village health, sanitation and nutrition committee, they added.
