Ranchi, March 30: Union tribal affairs minister Arjun Munda demanded a thorough probe in the matter of suicide committed by Dr Archana Sharma, a MBBS and MD (obs and gynaecology)  gold medalist from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) at Jaipur in Rajasthan.

A tweet by Munda with news of suicide suggests so.

“The incident of the suicide of Dr Archana Sharma, a gold medalist who passed MBBS and MD (obs Gyanae) from RIMS, Ranchi, is very sad. Get it done and strict action should be taken against the guilty official,” the tweet tagging chief minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gahlot and PMO reads.

The gynaecologist committed on Tuesday night after a murder case under section 302 was registered against her following 12-hour protest of villagers after death of a 22-yr-old lady due to excessive bleeding after delivery in a private hospital.

A suicide recovered suggested that the lady doctor was under depression after the registration of the murder case.  IMA boycotted their duty after the incident.
