Dhanbad, July 14: Eminent urologists of the country will assemble in Dhanbad for USICON 2022, a two-day annual conference of the Urology Society of India, Jharkhand chapter, from July 16 to 17.
Dr Rohit Kumar, chairman of the USICON 2022 organizing committee, said that during the conference, many prominent urologists from across the country will share their experiences, knowledge and latest developments in the field of urology around the globe.
The urologists who have confirmed their participation in the conference are Dr Kalian Sarkar, Dr RK Gopal Krishnan, Dr Joy Chakraborty (Kolkata), Dr Prasant Nayak (AIIMS Bhubaneswar), Dr Gautam Banga and Dr Niranuj Paul Bhatia. Besides them, urologists of Bihar and Jharkhand will also participate in it.
The doctors will discuss the latest evaluation and management of urological cancers, kidney stones, prostatic enlargement, male and female urethral structure, and the use of different types of lasers among other topics.
“The conference will provide a wonderful opportunity for the local urologists to interact, learn and enrich their knowledge to serve the people of Jharkhand in a better way,” said Dr Rohit Kumar.
This is the 3rd time when the annual conference of the Urology Society of India is being held In Jharkhand and the first time in Dhanbad.
To make the conference memorable for urologists across the country, an organizing committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Dr Rohit Kumar. Dr Pradeep Kumar Sinha is the Organizing Secretary and Dr Gaurav Prakash is the treasurer for this event. Dr Jogendra Singh and Dr S K Karan are the chief patrons.
