Ramgarh, May 30: The Barlanga police arrested a young man accused of abducting a minor girl on the pretext of marriage and sent him to the Ramgarh jail in judicial custody on Tuesday. The police have also found the minor. Ajit Karmali, a resident of Sargdih of the same police station area, had abducted a minor a week and a half ago.
Even after a lot of searches, when the girl could not be found, her father filed an application against the young man at the police station. Taking this matter seriously, the police started tracing the accused youth.
On tracing the mobile location of the youth, his location was found in the area around Jonha Fall of the Silli police station. When the police reached the village while chasing the location, the youth fled from there.
Meanwhile, the police got hold of his mobile. In this regard, station in-charge Anant Singh said that he had received secret information that the youth accused of abducting the minor was waiting for the train at Barlanga railway station with the intention of running away. Subsequently, the police laid siege and arrested him. The police registered a case and sent him to judicial custody.
