New Delhi, Nov 2: Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, on Tuesday, announced that he is coming out of retirement and will return to the field in February next year.
The 39-year-old took to Instagram to announce that he will be back on the cricket field in February 2022. He wrote, “God decides your destiny!! On public demand, I’ll be back on the pitch hopefully in February! Ain’t nothing like this feeling! Thank you for your love and wishes mean a lot to me! Keep supporting India, it’s our team and a true fan will show his or her support in tough times”.
Notably, Yuvraj Singh won the Man of the Tournament title in the 2011 World Cup but a few days after the conclusion of the 2011 World Cup he was diagnosed with cancer.
In 2019 June, Yuvraj had announced his retirement from international cricket. After this, he played in franchise cricket and represented the Toronto Nationals in the GT20 League. He also played for the Maratha Arabians in Abu Dhabi T10 and was last seen on the field in the Road Safety Series of March 2021.
