Patna, Dec 14: The death toll due to the consumption of toxic liquor has gone up to 20 in the Saran district of Bihar’s Chhapra. The number of people dying in Bihar as a result of drinking fake alcohol is expected to rise.
Family members of the deceased people claimed that their loved ones passed away as a result of drinking hazardous alcohol.
The incident happened in the Yadu Mor and Doila villages of the Isuapur and Mashrak police stations, respectively.
Police are looking into the situation right now. The Madhaura DSP added that the police are seeking for the villagers who have become unwell as a result of consuming alcohol when speaking about the incident.
The administration has not yet responded to the rising death toll from alcohol.

Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, lost his temper in front of the Assembly as a result of the deaths caused by the drinking of alcohol. The incident took place as a discussion about the Patna lathi charge on job applicants and the hooch catastrophe was taking place.
