Bengaluru, Dec 15: Group Captain Varun Singh, who had been rescued after the army chopper crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu on December 8, has passed away on Wednesday.
He was being treated at a Bengaluru military hospital after being moved from the Wellington Hospital in Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor.
Notably, the army chopper crash in Coonoor on December 8, killed the Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others.
