New Delhi, March 17: UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss is going to visit India to explore bilateral relations by the end of March. Truss’ journey to India takes place in the midst of the continuing Russia-Ukraine conflict, which began its fourth week on Thursday.

The summit will discuss Russia’s broad sanctions, which have resulted in an unprecedented increase in the price of some crucial items. Senior US and European officials, including US Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, are expected to accompany Truss, according to sources.
However, there has been no formal announcement from London regarding the visit’s finalised date. Truss is expected to discuss the outlines of the Indo-Pacific cooperation with India during her visit, according to reports. The conference is also intended to strengthen UK-India relations as part of efforts to finalise a trade agreement with New Delhi.
