New Delhi, March 9: A new post-election poll predicts that the BJP will win in Uttar Pradesh and the Congress will lose big in Punjab, barely a day before the ballots are counted in five state elections tomorrow.
According to the Lokniti-CSDS exit poll, the BJP and its allies would win 43% of the vote in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the exit poll, Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party, the BJP’s biggest competitor, will receive 35% of the vote.
According to a series of tweets by political analyst Sanjay Kumar, Mayawati’s BSP is expected to gain 15% of the vote, the Congress 3%, and the others 4%, according to Lokniti-CSDS.

The Lokniti-CSDS exit poll predicts a devastating defeat for the Congress in Punjab and Uttarakhand. According to the report, the Goa findings are once again a hung jury.
According to Lokniti-CSDS, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is expected to receive 40% of the vote in Punjab, while the Congress would receive 26%. The BJP-led alliance would receive 7% of the vote, while its former ally, the Akali Dal, would receive 20%.
In Goa, a new exit poll shows the BJP with 32% of the vote and the Congress with 29%. According to the report, the Trinamool Congress would receive 14% of the vote, while the AAP would receive 7%.
Notably, previous exit polls in Punjab forecast an AAP triumph. According to exit polls, AAP has 63 seats in Punjab’s 117-seat legislature, with a 59 percent majority. According to polls, the ruling Congress is expected to place second in the assembly with 28 members.
In Goa and Uttarakhand, the majority of exit polls projected a tie.
