New Delhi, May 3: The annual Char Dham Yatra is due to commence today (May 3), on the auspicious festival of Akshaya Tritiya. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the yearly pilgrimage is being held after a two-year hiatus. The yatra will kick off on May 3 with the opening of the Gangotri and Yamunotri temple gateways in Uttarkashi. Kedarnath and Badrinath will open on May 6 and 8, respectively.
“May 03, the doors of “Yamunotri Dham” dedicated to Goddess Yamuna will open on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
