Ranchi, Aug.17: As many as four patients of AIDS were detected in July across the state. The places from where the AIDS patients hail include one each from Koderma and Dhanbad and two from West Singhbhum.
Deputy director of Jharkhand State AIDS Control Society (JACS) Kaushal informed this saying all the patients are being given proper treatment.
So far as many as 111 AIDS patients have been detected since the JACS started working on targeted intervention schemes through NGOs and out of 111 as many as 80 are being provided medicine.
The State has as many as 22150 registered AIDS patients. Out of total, as many as 12360 are being given medicine through ART centres in different districts.
