Ramgarh, Nov 9: The famous Shaktipeeth Maa Chinnmastika temple in Rajrappa witnessed the grand Ganga Maha Aarti on the banks of the Bhairavi river on the occasion of Kartik Purnima on Tuesday evening. During this, the area resonated with the slogans of ‘Har Har Gange’ and ‘Jai Mata Di’. The aarti was performed by 11 Acharyas of Janhvi Seva Samiti from Banaras.

The Aarti and Bhajan Sandhya programs were organized under the aegis of Maa Chhinnamastika Seva Samiti which saw a huge influx of devotees from different places of the state including the Ramgarh district.

The Bhajan evening program featured the hymn songs by famous singer Aditi Raj of Bihar, Jyoti Sahu and Vivek Kumar of Jharkhand and young singer Abir Dayal Satsangi. The event was inaugurated by Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan, who on the occasion said, “This event is really wonderful. We used to see such aarti in Banaras. But today it is very commendable of the Maa Chhinnamastika Seva Samiti to organize such a grand event.”
