Lucknow, May 7: Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, expressed his profound sadness over the loss of life in a traffic accident on Sunday in which a bus crashed in the Jalaun district, resulting in five fatalities and more than 15 injuries.
The bus reportedly rolled over on Saturday night after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near Gopalpura in the Jalaun district’s Madhaugarh police station area.
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh sent his sympathies to the mourning families of those deceased in the Jalaun accident.
The district administration’s personnel were also given instructions by the Chief Minister to make sure the injured were treated properly.
Additionally, he wished the injured a quick recovery and gave the officers instructions to expedite the relief effort.
The police said, “There were 40 people in the bus, out of which, five people have died while more than 15 people were injured after a bus carrying wedding guests overturned after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Jalaun district.”
