Ranchi, Nov 29: A day after Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren reprimanded the excise department officials for lagging Rs 516 crore behind the target of excise tax collection, BJP legislature party chief Babulal Marandi launched a Twitter attack on the CM.

Marandi through his tweets reminded CM Soren about the former’s six-month messages cautioning the latter taking the new excise policy of the state and government officials’ exercise of mocking the cautioning message by presenting false data and organising press conferences.

The Excise department, which has set a target of collecting Rs 2200 crore in revenue by selling liquor in the financial year 2022-23, could collect Rs 1085 crore. The department is expected to collect Rs 1600 crore by the end of November 2022 but it could collect Rs 1085 crore. The situation has become so worse that employees working in retail outlets of liquors are not getting paid.
दोषी कौन? मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन जी, आपके नज़रों में इस पत्रवीर के उठाये सवालों के लिये पिछले पन्ने पलटिये।आपके सारे शंका का समाधान हो जायेगा।सरकारी व्यवस्था में जब घूस टार्गेट फ़िक्स कर पहले वसूल लिया जायेगा तो सरकारी राजस्व का नुक़सान तो होना ही है।यही तो हो रहा है दारू में।

मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन जी, इससे पहले की आप इस शराब घोटाले के मामले में भी फँसकर एक और घोटाले का रिकार्ड अपने नाम कर लें, उठिये, जागिये और बिना देरी किये उन अफ़सरों पर कठोर कारवाई करिये जिन्होंने ने दिल्ली की तर्ज़ पर शराब घोटाले में आपकी गर्दन फँसाने का पक्का इंतज़ाम कर दिया है।

Taking this figure into consideration, Marandi has warned CM Soren against those government officials who are misleading the government in the formulation of excise policy and paving the path for the addition of the name of CM in another scam.
