Cultural Diplomacy at the Forefront
The local Indian community had made special decorations and preparations for the PM’s visit. After the prayers, PM Modi highlighted the deep cultural and spiritual ties between India and Seychelles. Experts say the temple visit is aimed at advancing cultural diplomacy. Seychelles, located in the Indian Ocean, is considered strategically important for India.
