CBSE begins CPD course for teachers of affiliated schools

Ranchi, Nov 11: The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun a training programme for teachers in the session 2022–23 to develop, update and upgrade the skills of teachers under NEP 2020. Teachers will be able to join the CPD (Continuous Professional Development) training programmes through webinars. CBSE has made it compulsory for teachers to attend this webinar for 50 hours a year.

During the webinars, teachers will be given information about different topics including COVID-19 – Responsive Behavior, Action Research, Cyber Security Practice, Classroom Teaching, and the Environmental Threats of Electronic Waste among others.

As per the information, interested candidates will have to book places in advance to participate in the webinars. The Continuous Professional Development programme will not only develop the skills of the teachers but also develop the skills of the students.

All the Principals/School Heads and Teachers of CBSE Affiliated schools are hereby requested to undertake these courses for enriching their knowledge base and updating their teaching-learning practices.
