Ranchi, Dec 9: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates of practical examinations, internal assessment and project work to be conducted under the board examination for students registered in affiliated schools’ secondary and senior secondary classes during the year 2022-23. The board is expected to release a detailed date sheet on Friday.

A notification has been issued for further instructions. According to the notification issued by the board, the practical exam, internal assessment and project work for class 10 and class 12 will be conducted from January 1, 2023. However, the subject-wise programme will be issued by the respective schools.

In its notification, the CBSE Board has issued necessary instructions for schools as well as students which will be mandatory for practical examinations, project work and internal assessment. As per these instructions, the students/parents should ensure that all their subjects are reflected in the list of students submitted by the schools. They should be aware of the syllabus and the subjects in which practical exams will be conducted. The Board will not offer any second chance, so, students will have to appear for the practical exams as per schedule.

For schools, CBSE has asked them to ensure that the syllabus for practical exams is completed well in time. Necessary arrangements are made for the conduct of the exam and the schools should ensure that they have a sufficient number of practical answer books before the conduct of the exam. Also, schools can directly connect with the Regional Offices in case of any shortcomings.

Along with the students, parents should also be aware of the syllabus of the subject for which they are going to appear in the practical examinations. Students should appear in the practical exam as per the schedule prescribed by the schools. CBSE has announced in the notice that a second chance will not be given in this. Also, in case of any dilemma/problem regarding all these, candidates can contact their respective schools.
