Meanwhile, the Ukrainian crew of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant is still detained ten days after Russian forces secured it. The crew is weary mentally, physically, and emotionally while working in shifts, according to Yury Fomichev, Mayor of Slavutych.
A report said that the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southeastern Ukraine was back in Ukrainian control a day after Russian forces purportedly stormed and controlled it.
The Kyiv Independent’s defence reporter Illia Ponomarenko tweeted that Ukraine had reclaimed the nuclear power facility, which is Europe’s largest.

Meanwhile, Russia has denied that it struck Ukraine’s nuclear power facility at Zaporizhzhia.
According to a Russian Defense Ministry official, Ukrainian assertions that Moscow launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia were a ‘effort to blame Russia for producing a radioactive hotbed.’ The shelling of the plant, he claimed, was a ‘lie.’
