Ranchi, Dec 12: The Supreme Court on Monday briefly heard the SLP of Kolkata-based businessman and the ‘cash for PIL’ accused, Amit Agrawal and deferred the hearing till December 14.
“I will keep it when you want. We can keep it this week because this person has been repeatedly coming. I don’t know. Uh this is the third part of the thing I am hearing of,” a division bench of Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice M. M. Sundresh observed.
THough, the counsels appearing for Amit Agrawal sought a pass-over, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta insisted the court should hear the SLP.

During the hearing, counsels for Amit Agrawal sought some other time. The court agreed and said that it can keep the matter for hearing this week also.
During the hearing it was said that there were a lot of allegations against Amit Agrawal and complications are coming up in this part. The court was informed that the Jharkhand High Court has already ordered a CBI inquiry into this matter.
